Camping, Chalets, Self Catering In Morrungulo, Massinga, Mozambique (Inhambane Province)

Beachfront Chalet

(4 sleeper) There are 7 of these particular chalets right on the beach front. Each unit has its own private garden, braai area and outdoor shower.  They have a kitchen/dining area, one hot and cold gas shower and separate toilet, 2 bedrooms each sleeping 2 people. The chalet is equipped with deep freeze, 2 plate gas stove, crockery, cutlery, pots, etc. Blankets, sheets and mosquito nets are supplied but clients MUST BRING THEIR OWN TOWELS, toiletries and cleaning materials, as these are not supplied.

Chalets are self catering and not serviced, but domestics can be hired for cleaning, laundry etc. There is also the provision in the dining area to fold down the benches to accommodate another 2 guests. Should there be more than 4 people utilising the chalet there is an additional charge N.B. Clients must bring their own mattresses/nets/bedding for extra guests. Tents are not permitted in chalet grounds.  Any items broken, damaged or lost will be charged for.

 

Villa

(4 sleeper luxury self-cater unit) . Located on the hill near the restaurant - it  has stunning views. 2 bedrooms each sleeping 2 people with en suite bath and outdoor tropical shower. It has a kitchen and separate lounge/dining area, There is also a fold out sofa bed (double)  in the dining area for extras.

The unit is equipped with small fridge, deep freeze, gas stove, crockery, cutlery for 8 people, pots, etc. Blankets, sheets and mosquito nets are provided but clients MUST BRING THEIR OWN TOWELS as well as toiletries, toilet rolls and cleaning materials, as these are not supplied. Domestics can be hired for cleaning, laundry etc. There is a spash pool and lappa in front of the villa on a wooden decking, perfect for sundowners and braais.

Casita (not beachfront)

There are 7 double storey units situated on the rise behind the chalets. These have 2 bedrooms (1 double bedroom downstairs and 2 single beds upstairs) Kitchen/dining area, one hot and cold gas shower and separate toilet. The casita is equipped with deep freeze, 2 plate gas stove, crockery, cutlery, pots, etc. Blankets, sheets and mosquito nets are supplied but clients MUST BRING THEIR OWN TOWELS, toiletries and cleaning materials, as these are not supplied. Each unit has its own braai. Casitas are self catering and not serviced, but domestics can be hired for cleaning, laundry etc.

There is also the provision in the dining area to fold down the benches to accommodate another 2 guests. Should there be more than 4 people utilising the casita there is an additional charge. N.B. Barracas (Lapa)

These are open thatched 4m x 4m concrete floored structures which come with a power point (5 amp), light and shelving. Most campers utilise these as a central living area and camp around the barraca.

Camping

We also offer plain camping in demarcated lawned campsites under the shade of coconut and indigenous trees. Plug points (centrally located and not at every site) are also available as an optional extra. These are operational ONLY during generator hours. Ablution blocks are fully tiled and equipped with gas hot water showers – Bring your own toilet paper as this is not supplied.
